Drogheda Lifestart

Lifestart is a strengths-based practice model of family support focused on child nurture, protection and development.

We support parents of children birth to five years in the Drogheda, South Louth and East Meath areas.  Lifestart is open to all parents or those parenting children birth to five years offering one to one home based parenting support.

The services we provide:

Lifestart Growing Child programme is our core programme for parents of children birth to five years. Lifestart Growing Child is an evidenced based home visiting programme.  It is tailored to the needs of each family and while the programme is monthly the support to families can be provided weekly or fortnightly depending on the needs of each family.

Lets Talk Success Series – is a short 4 session programme focused on communication needs of young children, supporting parents to develop the speech, language and communication skills of their children – delivered in the family home.

Lifestyle Development Drogheda Lifestart

Keep it Safe Programme – is a safety awareness programme for parents of children birth to three years.  It covers child development stages from a safety perspective – safety in the home, out and about inc. water, sun and road safety. This is delivered quarterly in the family home.

Know Your Growing Child – a series of thematic sessional interventions designed to help parents address specific parenting issues – topics include attachment and bonding, child safety, communication, feeding and nutrition, health and well-being, routines.  The type and number of sessions will depend on family need and circumstances.
